This merits an entry in the tourist attractions section even if the food was no good but actually the food is very good and the service is wonderful – friendly and helpful but not obsequious. You eat in the hall of the Royal Baths renovated in the original stunning style but with some tasteful oriental touches at ground level.
If you enjoy visiting the Old Pump Room and the Turkish Baths in Harrogate to see how the waters were enjoyed in days gone by, you really should add this to your list to see. You cannot visit unless you are eating there, which is fair enough as you can enjoy your meal without a stream of visitors gawking. The food is worth the price anyway so if you consider that you have got free entry into this tourist attraction, it is good value.
