Hotel was booked by client company and I’d read mixed reviews – so here’s what I found. Good size bedroom, big bed, two chairs (plus stool under the desk); freshly decorated; wooden floors which might account for occasional footsteps from floor above. Small wall mounted TV with integral DVD. Room had kettle and tea/coffee. Parking at rear of the hotel can become full if you don’t get there at the best time, so need to watch where you park on-street to avoid fees. Good breakfast – cheery guy delivering it to table. Close to harbour and main town centre (two-minute walk depending on how long you read the menus/study shops on the way) and all the eating places in this compact town. Entering from the car park into the back hall gives a poor impression, whereas the front hall entrance for walkers-in is welcoming. Staircase to rooms is gloomy and there is no lift, hence my commenting on suitability for less-abled (which I don't normally do, as I don't feel qualified). Booked by client and they got a good price for regular custom.
