Rose Cottage is a beautifully appointed stone cottage right in the centre of Goathland, which Heartbeat fans will know well as Aidensfield. The owner is a friendly and chatty lady who has a warm welcome for all. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, a veritable home from home. The breakfasts are hearty and good quality from local suppliers. Sheep roam freely outside the front door and there are spectacular views all round. There are country pubs within easy walking distance for great evening meals, either bar meals or fine dining. The North York Moors Steam railway is but a short walk away. A great place to stay.
