This is an expensive evening out, but if you like jazz then worth a visit. Tips are to book the premium seats – these are located nearer to the front but also include a proper table and chairs, whilst the cheaper seats are on long lines of benches sideways on. Also it would pay to get there early – you are allocated seating on arrival, so the later you get there the less choice there is. We left plenty of time but got stuck in bad traffic so ended up just getting there a bit late. The venue is very dark so take a torch or your phone to read the menu! We ordered steaks and didn’t realize they were veal until they came. Service is frenetic and you can wait a while. However you do get some great artists and the performers are up close. A good night out, but book well ahead as it is popular.
