Stayed one night at the Ritz Carlton Santiago before heading off an a South American cruise. Lovely large well decorated room with a large Sony LCD TV, large comfortable bed and done in the best possible taste. The staff spoke excellent English and we were welcomed with a free drink and nibbles in the bar. Excellent location in a very safe area that we were happy to walk around and visit the nearby shops. We ate a gourmet meal in the hotel restaurant for my wife’s birthday that night, the steak was first class, very tasty and well presented.
