On a recent road trip we did on route 66 we decided to visit Las Vegas. we are not gamblers but my daughter has visited Vegas on several occasions and said its worth seeing before you die!! hope she was joking about that.
We did not want to stay in a large hotel and wondered if that was actually possible in Vegas! but we found a place called the Rita Suites which was a three story apartment style hotel with a with rooms overlooking the pool and hot tub which was an added bonus. it was really nice and we had a lovely room with a sitting area, a kitchen and a separate bedroom. you would not even know you were in Las Vegas, except for the view of the top of the Wynn Hotel. it was very quiet there and within a five minute walking distance of the strip which was great.
If you are looking for somewhere that’s a bit personal and provides a breakfast too, please go here. My wife cooked us a lovely evening meal as the prices in Vegas are a little high for us! There is no casino there, so you do not get many people coming in late at night or mulling around which is nice.
