Last time I visited “Rievaulx Abbey”:https://www.silvertraveladvisor.com/review/attraction/153388-review-rievaulx-abbey with the camera was on a very dull, damp and misty March day. The pictures were atmospheric, but hardly sparkling.

This visit was on a hot sunny afternoon in late May and the Abbey looked spectacular and glowed in the sunlight. After admiring the medieval tiles in the reception area and a quick visit to the tearoom for a cold drink and slice of chocolate cake, I wandered round the site retaking photos.
