Riad Magellan was an absolutely divine Riad my husband and I visited during the month of September. We were recommended to stay by a couple of old friends from France, and we undoubtedly made the best choice possible. The riad itself was conveniently located in the centre of the Old City, near to the Souk market place and Jemaa El Fna. This busy square was a little overwhelming for my husband and I, so we chose to spend alot of our time at Magellan, relaxing in one of the many public areas and sipping beautiful sweet mint tea. It was an incredibly stunning little place with three fantastic levels including a nicely furnished roof terrace that was brought to life at night. The room we stayed in for three nights was large, spacious and equipped with many trinkets the owner Philippe had collected throughout his travels, and fantastic Moroccan decor. We chose to dine out, so unfortunately I cannot comment on the meals, although the smell from the kitchen as we walked past was absolutely divine. Next time we visit Magellan, we will certainly eat there! I absolutely loved the breakfast, it was more than enough for my husband and I. We particularly enjoyed the home made yoghut. Shokran, Riad Magellan.
