Reasons for trip

Visited the Flower show on Wednesday the 6th of July for the day, our first visit to Hampton Court. Although busy there was plenty to see and do so did not feel crowded, plenty seating all over which helped when you needed a rest.

Parking did not seem too bad as you had the choice of Park & Ride or the main park, we chose the main park solely because it was easier to find and closer. At a cost of £15 it was not cheap but it was convenient. Cannot comment on Park & Ride price but believe it was cheaper.

Overall we had a lovely day, the indoor flower displays were lovely, fresh and vibrant, and there was also plenty to see outdoors as well. A few notable gardens and also a few not so notable, really a matter of individual taste.

Plenty places to eat and drink, which were extremely well run, also music at the Bandstand and stalls selling absolutely everything.

The grounds of the Palace were also lovely to walk round and the Palace gardens were stunning. We spent around 4 hours in total and felt that was adequate to see and do what interested us. I cannot comment on price as although we are RHS members we were fortunate to win a couple of tickets. We made a break of this and I will post a separate review of our hotel.
