The garden is very well maintained and large enough to allow different routes on repeat visits. There are many distinct areas including rockery,glasshouse,fruit,vegetable,heather,trial ground and example gardens. The layout is clear with signs and maps. There are several food and drink shops providing excellent choice and quality at a fair price.
The garden has wide appeal for all age groups, when I visited several free games were provided on the lawn.
The gardens provide an interesting trip throughout the year.
Joining the RHS provides the best value if you intend to visit several times a year and helps them continue their work.
