This place isn't easy to spot when you're trying to negotiate the traffic in Reims, so my tip is to take a look at a picture of the place online before you set off, the colourful exterior of the building is easy to spot. Parking is a bit tight & if you have a big car & a lot of the spaces are full, you might need some tight manoeuvring to get into a space. The back of the car park has some steps to get you quickly to reception but if you can't use these, you need to walk around the apartment block. Reception staff were pleasant & one spoke good english but they were ineffective. I'd asked for a quiet room away from the railway side at booking & also confirmed in an e-mail that this had been allocated. It was confirmed again at reception but the room they gave us still had someone in it when we entered it. The replacement room they gave us, allegedly the only one they had left, was on the noisy railway side. On this side its very noisy from the trains but more so from the platform announcements when you have the windows open. With the external shutters rolled down it does deaden a lot of the sound. The following afternoon we had someone walk into the apartment, apologise & then run out. So security here & room allocation seemed to be a big issue. Its a real shame because they are beautifully appointed apartments. Clean, comfortable & reasonably well equipped for self catering. From the decor, comfort & equipment angle, at the price, they are a good alternative to a hotel room. Free WiFi & pretty good speeds adds to the facilities available. Lifts are available from reception to all floors. Its obviously very convenient for the station, its a short walk into the main part of town & there is a Super U close by. Its sad not to be able to recommend this place due to the noise & security concerns.
