The penthouse apartment was very well appointed for a self catering holiday, we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony for our drinks and meals, and generally chilling out watching the birds and local life. The appartments are in a village, so you get a real sense of local life, especially if you walk down to the shops, mariner, or catch a bus to one of six fabulous local beaches.
Cades Reef is at the bottom of the lane, an absolutely stunning nature reserve, which you will have mostly all to yourselves.
If you want a holiday that is really different from an all inclusive resort, go there!
