I stayed in a 5-berth chalet with my husband, daughter, and 2 grandaughters. The chalet was basic but had everything we wanted, 2 bedrooms, lounge-cum-kitchen, shower room-cum-toilet, and didn't have to share the chalet with anyone else, which was good. There was no gas connected to the chalet, so it was all electric, with 1 storage heater for heating all the chalet, and of course did all our own cooking. Electric was by tokens which had to be purchased with the site owner, and with it being all electric, we went through quite a few tokens, as it was the end of October and begining of November, darker earlier in evenings, and darker later in a morning. We had to have the heating on even though it was an overnight storage heater, because as soon as you opened the door all the heat had gone. With only one heater the chalet might have been better in the warmer weather, but like anywhere it was used mainly as a base to stay, while visiting places around the area.
