Stayed here for one night to ensure an early start for the ferry to France. Got a great deal through Trivago, so was slightly apprehensive as to what to expect. It surpassed my expectations totally. Lovely clean, comfortable well-appointed room. Good restaurant on site, the Olive Tree Restaurant. Had an excellent risotto and a large glass of house red wine for £19.40. Surprisingly quiet hotel – well carpeted corridors. There was a wedding reception taking place elsewhere in the hotel, but it did not impact at all upon the peace and comfort of other guests. Very efficient and professional staff. Will definitely book again when leaving UK in the future.
