We were greeted at the reception with a glass of champagne and immediately asked if we would like to upgrade our room. We decided to check out the room we had been allocated first and were more than impressed. Ground floor room with huge private patio overlooking the mountain, it contained 2 lovely comfy sun loungers, a table 2 chairs and a table. So much choise in the restaurant, even champagne for breakfast. One tip, the hotel is very child friendly so for a quieter evening meal I suggest eating earlier. There is an adult only pool if you like peace and quiet to read your book without being splashed. The walk to the sea is a gentle slope on a wide pedestrian walk way, dotted with coffee shops and bars. The resort has 2 markets per week. Spoilt for choise for places to eat for lunch. Shallow bay if you fancy a paddle , very safe for the grandchildre. Treat yourself to a cold drink and watch the world go by. Take a stroll along the little canals and bridges just like Venice. When we visited there were no touts, no beggars, no drunks, no litter.
