This hotel is located between Debenhams and Selfridges in Oxford Street. Steps away from the underground and Oxford Street literally round the corner. A great central location. The staff and extremely helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a deluxe room which had a sofa and a bit more space. The Scoff and Banter restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The ground floor is a place where you can have lunch, cocktails, or an evening meal – all very nicely presented and good quality and good service, whilst on the first floor it becomes the breakfast room, and then from 2pm onwards the place for an elegant afternoon tea. The tea is definitely worth having – the delights on offer are truly wonderful with everything from a mini steak sandwich or lobster soup (in a small cup) to a mini trifle and gorgeous cakes, along with or course lovely scones and pastries. Ours also came with a complimentary bottle of champagne.
