Reasons for trip

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is at the R.S. Hispaniola this October.

'Roll on the plate' said Basil to Manuel, so of course he did, right next to my table! From then on the gags from every episode just kept coming and coming. Fantastic!

Basil, Sybil and Manuel are on the Restaurant Ship Hispaniola to host Faulty Towers The Dining Experience until the 30th October. So you'd better move fast to experience this wonderfully funny dining show.

The ship, permanently moored on Victoria Embankment, opposite the EDF Energy London Eye, offers an intimate setting, which allows guests to immerse themselves into the legendary world of Faulty Towers.

Featuring all the best gags and a great meal, The Faulty Towers Dining Experience is a loosely-scripted, pitch-perfect tribute to the iconic TV series. Diners are part of an interactive theatre experience, which is performed in the restaurant itself with the audience as the diners and the cast their warring waiters.

The fun started as we all waited to be seated, I forgot to say good evening to Basil, who soon picked me up on that blunder and then the show hurtled along for the next two hours as Sybil, Basil and Manuel served a three-course dinner… Basil is completely neurotic, Sybil's a domineering madam, and Manuel – of course – is hopelessly language-challenged. Everything that can go wrong, does, in some beautifully controlled chaos. Just don't mention the war!

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience has been touring Australia since 1997 and premiered in Europe in 2008 to huge public and critical acclaim. The London 2011 cast features: Alison Pollard-Mansergh as Sybil, Michael Davoren as Basil, and Andy Foreman as Manuel.
