My husband and I recently cruised on board Cunard Queen Victoria sailing from Athens visiting Istanbul, Volos and Mykonos. The ship is beautiful, the staff attentive, lovely cabins with a huge amount of wardrobe and storage space including the under bed space just for the suitcases. There are many activities on board both for the able bodied or not so able. We didnt take any of the excursions but found our own way from the ship at each port which was simple to do. The food is exceptional whether in the self service buffet restaurant or the main dining room and of course you can eat 24 hours a day should you wish to do so. Most of the guests seemed to be silver travellers and very few children were on board. Single travellers are well looked after even to the point of having their own Cunard dancing partners. We didnt use the internet but did find that the mobile phone connections were poor. This was our first cruise and we loved it so hopefully the first of many!
