Reasons for trip

Culture / Sightseeing

I stayed here February 2017, with my 25 year old daughter, for three nights. The hotel is situated across the road from the WW2 Jewish getto. It was fascinating to walk around – but also heart-breaking. It is also very near to the Schindler Factory Museum.

The room was really comfortable and clean – and was well designed, ergonomically. The bathroom the same. Best of all was the buffet breakfast, which my daughter and I were thrilled with. It comprised of around 5 trips to the buffet area: fruit, cereals, breads and cheeses/jams, cooked food and waffles. Amazing.

Worst of all was the indoor swimming pool, which was too cold to get into. There was a Jacuzzi but it was occupied by a group of hard-faced individuals, who didn’t want to vacate. This was really disappointing as we went to the trouble of getting changed (not fun in Winter – even in a heated hotel).

The cost was paid for in Avios points – which helped bring down the cost of the trip.
