We visited as near Stirling, Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies.

If you want an experience in a Georgian mansion where service is 5 star then read on.

A long drive up to the house. You will probably miss the turning to the house first time off the main road. Welcomed by a cup of tea and crumpets. You can use their wonderful drawing room. Your room is on first floor, wonderful prints and staircase. Beautifully appointed room. No tv, but wi-fi. They have recommendations for places to eat.

We were welcomed back with a glass of whisky and a fire if required. We stayed there with our dog. They have sheep and chickens on their land

Wonderful breakfast in their dining room. Robin was an excellent host. His wife Pippa who normally hosts was away.
