We were the only persons in the apartments due to the owner being seriously ill. We had the large pool to ourselves and travelled to town by hire car. We have stayed in these apartments for the past 20 years and feel we are part of the community. All the apartments and studios range from 3 bedroom to 1 and are not overlooked. There is a small taverna on site which is normally run by Toula who will cook any meal for you. The apartments are down either steep steps or along an unmade track which takes you to a sandy beach across a main road. This same road has a bus stop within 250yds to take you to Elounda or to Agios Nikolaos.Only the sound of a dislexic cockrel or a dog will disturb you as the site is in an olive orchard. Search in town and you will find inexpensive tavernas up side streets or rather more expensive ones on the lake.This resort is not 18/30s so over 50s will blend in and enjoy the peace although you can find the odd music bar in town.Two tavernas near to the apartments are very good.
