Travelled to Leeds from home in Berkshire by car. Stayed 2 nights in Premier Inns on way up (Derby and Sheffield), then 1 night in Leeds and 1 night in Derby on homeward leg. All the staff at all hotels very cheerful and ready to help, Premier have a policy for lone travellers, especially female that they do not accommodate you on the ground floor for security reasons and there is 24hour reception service. Their rooms are well equipped and solo travellers do not get "box rooms" which can happen with some accommodation. Really good value for money if you book their deals. Consequently I had a lovely long weekend break and attended a wonderful Andrea Bocelli concert at the First Direct Arena .
