This is the second time we have stayed here – the first was a year ago-and once again it didn’t disappoint!Very clean everywhere and the staff we met were helpful & friendly.
Wifi is free for 30 minutes daily or you can pay to get more time.
The hotel is not directly on the main road so it’s very quiet. There are quite a few local shops(including a Co-op), chemist & a post office within a few minutes walk. There are also some small independent shops which makes a welcome change from the ones you see on the High St!
Highcliffe Castle is also within approx 15 minutes walk (depending on how fast you walk obviously) which is worth a visit. The lovely beach can also be accessed via the Highcliffe castle grounds or you can walk through the town and get to it that way. Views of the IOW & needles can be seen on a clear day.
There is a large free car park –a voucher is given to display in the car window. If you choose to eat breakfast it is taken at the adjacent "Table Table" pub/restaurant.
One evening we ate at the adjoining Table Table restaurant with my parents as I had 2 for 1 vouchers. Not only were the meals nicely presented and good quality but the service we received from a lady called Catherine was superb (think she may have been the Manager as she was not wearing a uniform). She really went the extra mile…
I would not hesitate to stay at this Premier Inn again – especially if we are lucky enough to get it at the promotional price again!
