We stayed at the hotel Ametyst through Superbreaks and would highly recommend it. Outside the city centre but only a 10 minute walk to the trams or 15 to the metro at Namesti Miru. We made the most of a travel pass and got to all the main sites early to avoid the tourists.
The metro was also a cool saviour from the heat. We ate at two restaurants near our metro stop and enjoyed both – mlsnej Kocour & Kravin. We also enjoyed the Bakeshop
