Beautiful place. Prices are much the same as back here in the UK and not as cheap as people were saying. Try the 24 hour tram, metro and bus pass and you can travel as much as you like around the city. We used the trams and saw lots of places, you just don’t have the commentary you would get on the more expensive tour buses, but we enjoyed it and it gave our feet a rest from all the walking. Tourist information was difficult to find, we followed signs and still did not find it. Went round in circles.
