I go with my husband to Potters each year to a Ceroc weekend. Ceroc is a dance craze and it is really easy to pick up. We dance locally and then the Ceroc weekend is from a Friday afternoon to the Monday morning. Apart from Ceroc – which is modern jive – there are various other classes to try, such as West Coast Swing, Ballroom, and Blues dancing. It is a great way to test our new moves and also meet other people with similar interests.
Potters is an easy place to get to (near Great Yarmouth) and the weekend is all inclusive, except for drinks. It is good for people who cannot get about too easily as there are ground floor chalets around the complex. There is great entertainment each evening with a West End type show and the talent is very good.
The type of people who go are all ages, male and female. I know one man who is over 90 and still going strong!
It is great exercise at a nice resort with comfortable accommodation.
