A beautiful town, although not very big but most definitely memorable. Only one road as built on the cliff so mostly pedestrianised. Can be hard going on the legs even for the young!! Alleyways of boutiques, cafes etc .. We arrived by Water Taxi so a photographic opportunity! After getting off the boat we selected a delicious ‘gelato’ that was most welcome. Most of the boutiques sold linen clothing that were beautiful but somewhat on the expensive side! Limoncello is another local favourite!! hic!! We walked until we got to the road and then stopped for a coffee with a view.
This time of year can be very hit and miss with the weather but we were fortunate to have 2 days of sunshine, the evenings can go a little cool so some knitwear is also advisable! And definitely pack a waterproof in case of shower.
We had a most wonderful time and the views along this coastline are absolutely breathless.
