Not so much a review as a chat!! It would be a review if there had been gigs to review. Now we are so looking forward to a few gigs this year – coming up soon – weddings – dinners on HMS Warrior and HMS Victory – Pickle and Trafalgar Nights for the Navy. All missed last year, and a load of Festivals and gigs missed this year, in fact the final gig was in March 2020 at the Portsmouth Sailing Club. Great fun and so good to hear their harmony singing.
They were chosen by Gareth Malone for one of his competitions for groups over the country and they got to sing for him on the deck of HMS Warrior where he did a bit of heaving on the ropes.
What a nightmare for the “boys” not being able to sing for the public. They have managed to rehearse in a friends garden and a church hall so they haven’t lost their voices!
There are a few short videos on Facebook or YouTube where they can be heard but I hope some of you will be able to hear them in the flesh one day.
