This is an unpretentious family hotel, run by a family for families and groups. Whilst the decor is fairly tired, the warmth of the hospitality overcomes this factor. The rooms all seem to hold a double bed with an adjoining room with a single and two twin beds. Very reasonably priced and so affordable for families and groups. The food was not haute cuisine but was very acceptable and good value for money. Stunning views from the dining and ballroom. I travelled with my folk dance group, approx 40 in all. I had a 'single' which was only a £10 supplement for the whole weekend. With sleeping for five, it was very spacious! Right on the beach for fabulous coastal walking and wide sandy beach with surfing. The staff were very helpful to any individual requirements. If you look online you will read that there is a motion to redevelop this hotel into flats. However, they are accepting booking for next year and it's my belief that they will be honoured.
