We booed this tour at the Destinations exhibition early this year to take advantage of a 10% discount on what seemed to be quite a competitive price. We were fortunate that, with this trip being the last of the season there were only 15 guests, including us, and the tour manager, which made it convenient to dine at two tables of eight.
The crew were very friendly and accommodating and the food, while fairly basic, was tasty, plentiful and reflected the local cuisine. We had good guides for the included tours and one opportunity for sea swimming off the back of the boat.
This was our first try at small boat cruising – we have no liking of massive cruise ships – and it has made me want to consider finding another similar trip along a different coastline.
