This is the large white building on the Calmac pier at the far end of Tobermory. There is a small cafe on the ground floor and a larger, more upmarket Fish Cafe on the first floor above.
Downstairs serves light snacks and has a good selection of tray bakes at reasonable prices. Actually I was after the toilet – there is a nice one for patrons use only. It was a good excuse to treat myself to a cake The almond slice was excellent and cost just £1.85.
There is some seating inside with more outside. The cafe faces south so is a real sun trap with views across the bay to Aros Point, Calve Island and Ardnamurchan. Unless there is a ferry, it is much quieter than the cafes along the main street and a lovely place to drop out in the sunshine and admire the scenery.
