This beautiful country park is situated between Burry Port and Kidwelly in Carmarthenshire. It is a very large park and even on Bank Holidays there will always be plenty of open spaces. It is a woodland area that also has a most stunning beach. There is now a camping site for tents, caravans and motorhomes, very reasonably priced too. It also has a dry ski run and a miniature railway too. There are three cafes there and also a very informative information centre too. Horse riding is also available. It is also a favourite spot for fisherman and the beach goes on for miles, with dogs allowed on certain parts of the beach which is easily noticeable with the markers set out. The beach is accessed in places through the many dunes but there is also one straight path onto the beach, passing a coffee and gift shop, outdoor showers and toilets. Lifeguards are also present. For a very inexpensive price of £3 for cars and £5 for motorhomes entrance fee, it is a well worthy visit with outstanding beauty for anyone and everyone young or old.
