Apartments were ok for the price but not suitable for any serious self caterers. Not much in the way of crockery, cutlery etc and two rings to cook on. Fine though for what we wanted as we only eat breakfast in the apartment and always eat out. Big very steep hill from the town but we walked it once a day (aged 55 and 59). The taxis at the bottom will take you up the hill for 5 euros. Bar and bar food good. Always quiet so no good if you like action. Gorgeous view from the bar over the town and bay. Pefkos itself has plenty of restaurants and bars, it's not exactly old fashioned Greece but then it has no MacDonalds/KFCs etc and it is definitely not for teens looking for nightlife. Beautiful beaches with some non-organised ones without sunbeds spoiling them further round the coast. Lindos is close by. We visited for a day and that was enough for us. It is pretty but there isn't an inch of space anywhere . The town is crammed round the bay and up the hill. Pefkos is good for couples, families and anyone who likes somewhere with a bit of life but not over the top.
