Met my daughter here for a girlie weekend and an overdue catch up. What a hotel! Stylish and huge attention to detail.

Large comfortable rooms beautifully furnished. Great food and will cater for all dietary requirements.

Swimming pool, gym and very stylish spa area with relaxation room in Buddha style. Unfortunately, when we were there it was very crowded as there were several noisy all female parties (hen and reunion) who did not respect the notice to be quiet. That was unfortunate but my tip would be to go mid week rather than at the weekend if you’d like to relax in the spa area.

The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Cardiff. Across the road to the magnificent castle and near to the beautiful park where it’s possible to get a boat to Cardiff bay. Sadly we didn’t have time for this but it’s a good excuse to go back again!

Only warning is that there is a clock tower opposite that chimes every quarter of an hour!! Every hour during the night. the hotel will supply ear plugs. That aside, it really is a great hotel in a perfect location for historical sites, shopping and theatre.
