I like quirky things. Quirky things make me smile and THE PANTONE HOTEL IN BRUSSELS is no exception. And only 69 euros per room per night. Wonderfully situated only 15 minutes walk from Brussels Midi rail station the terminus for Eurostar. Designed using vibrant colours based on THE PANTONE COLOUR SPECTRUM CHART. Rooms come in different sizes and colours. Ranging from earthy, rich through vibrant, intense and fresh, eager the hotel allows you to choose your room colour which best reflects your mood. Rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are huge and comfortable. Air con and LCD tv's are standard. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly. Our bathroom was large and contained both bath and shower. The bath was one of the deepest I have ever seen and this may cause problems for people with mobility issues. Breakfast was a steep 15 euros each- so we decided to eat at a local deli. Avenue Louise is a shoppers delight and less then 5 minutes walk away. For a lovely Flemish meal try Rendez-vous des Artistes on Rue De Joncker 24 just around the block. Great value food served with Belgian charm.
THE PANTONE is a fabulous boutique hotel. A bargain price in this very underated city.
