This hotel often gets mixed up with the Bonvecchiati hotel to which it is situated next door.
Although it is a few years since I stayed there, I still remember how wonderful it is and am writing this review to make sure people are aware of it.
You can get a water taxi right up to the back door, but there is also another entrance at the front which goes onto the street. The location is perfect, just a short walk to St. Marks Square.
The hotel is spotless – beautiful white marble floors with not a speck of dust on them. The rooms are beautiful too. We had a room with a canal view which was perfect. All very modern.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the reception area is modern.
A lot of the hotels we looked at in Venice are traditional old style, so, if you want a modern boutique style hotel, then this is the place for you.
I can’t recommend it enough.
