Atherstone is my home town although I’ve not lived there for a number of years.
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for one night following a bereavement of a close family member.
The hotel is an old building but has been refurbished and extended and I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We had booked prior to arrival directly with the hotel who matched an online price we had seen – £65. As I’d only recently had a knee replacement, they offered us a ground floor room. The room was fabulous, a lovely large room, with a very comfortable king size bed and an en suite wet room. Breakfast wasn’t included, but was available for a very reasonable price. There was also free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
