No 12 Queen's Terrace, Exeter is one of several properties owned by the same organization. Signing in, and breakfast, take place over the road at The Georgian Lodge and they also own The Clock Tower Hotel which is round the corner.
No 12 offers a number of bedrooms that are all en-suite. Ours had a small shower room and old-fashioned tea making equipment and TV but was perfectly fine for a night or two. It was clean and warm and we were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the service at all times friendly and helpful. I should mention that rooms were up stairs, so no good for those with limited mobility.
The location is brilliant, at the top of Queen Street. You walk down to the High Street past the museum, which is definitely worth a visit, and reach all the shops and restaurants in about 10 minutes.
We wanted to leave our luggage for the day so did so at The Clock Tower. Here, they were delightfully helpful and friendly too.
All in all, a great value place to stay if you visit Exeter.
