Reasons for trip

An ancient and beautiful building with so much to offer the 21st century visitor. Surrounded by lawns with space for picnics or for grandchildren to let off steam Norwich Cathedral offers a friendly welcome to all the family. Volunteers greet visitors in the entrance and, of course, there are plenty of places to sit and rest, or contemplate. Besides beautiful memorials there is modern art and outside is the grave of Nurse Edith Cavell.
This serene peaceful place has so much to offer both lone travellers and families in a city full of pleasant surprises.
