Norcenni Girasole Club Campsite is a well organised and well equipped camp site. It is a very large site, with the majority of accommodation being mobile homes- either from Human ( the campsites own accommodation) or eurocamp/ canvas/ al fresco etc. There are some tent/ caravan/ mobile home pitches which access really good wash blocks.
We have been twice, last year in May, this year in September and each time we have driven. It is a lovely campsite out of peak season, I think it would be too busy and too expensive in August!
We have stayed in eurocamp accommodation, a middle of the range mobile home last year and their top of the range accommodation in September. Each time the mobile homes have been clean and well equipped, but the top of the range mobile home was fantastic! Eurocamp staff are always friendly, helpful and very approachable.
The camp site has two different pool complexes, a good shop, lots of places to eat and drink and an amazing wine bar. We spent a lovely evening wine tasting with the owner. There are lots of visit opportunities arranged by the campsite, but if you have a car it is easy to get to Florence, Sienna, San Gimiano etc. It is a beautiful and quick drive into the hills where chianti Classico wine is produced.
