This was our second trip to a Warner Hotel and it was so good we have already booked another. We travelled to Nidd Hall on the 19th of August in a family group for my Mothers 85th Birthday.
My Brother wrote an excellent review on Trip Advisor I hope I can do as well. From arrival to departure we had a blast, our accomodation in a Signature room with Patio was just stunning with everything required to make your stay. The bed was so comfortable you did not want to get up in the morning, the only problem was it was rather high of the ground so my Mother did have a job getting in to it, but managed with our help. Her room was directly next to the Restaurant and lifts which was great as she is in a wheelchair. Although her room was a standard it was as good as or better than our signature, having a walk in shower instead of shower over the bath, for those interested it was room 66.
The Rowson Restaurant was lovely very good seating and not cramped together like Littlecote. Our Waitress Carla was a pleasure and she attended to our every need. The breakfast had everything you could think of, even Eggs Benedict, and the evening meal was lovely, Carvery or Waitress service both equally delicious.
The evening entertainment was big band, a comedian and a singer all fabulous, would pay to see any of them again. Also plenty going on all day organised by the in house entertainment team, from film shows, dancing, singing, etc you also had swimming pool and spa, fabulous, games room, Archery and wonderful gardens to walk round, which we did frequently.
We sampled a traditional afternoon tea and many thank’s go to Jade who organised this for us as we did not realise it had to be booked in advance this was the highlight for my Mother.
I could go on and on but suffice to say we will all be back, each member of staff was a pleasure to deal with, to many to mention separately but many thank’s to you all.
We are trying Alvaston next as it is closer to home, but it will take a lot to beat Nidd, mind you I think I said that after visiting Littlecote. By the way our ages ranged from 50s 60s to 85 and there was something to suit us all.
