The falls were spectacular especially at night when illuminated, the trip on the Maid of the Mist is a must as long as you are brave the boat travels right up to the bottom of the falls, prepare to get wet even though you are provided with a waterproof coverup. The hotel "The Sheraton on the Falls" was very nice with fabulous views from the restaurant and the rooftop pool. The only disappointment was the main street it was exactly like being in Blackpool all amusment arcades, flashing lights and tacky gift shops. We stayed for 2 nights but after seeing the falls there was not a lot to do. We went on a excursion to Niagara on the Lake which is a small town and well worth a visit.
