Reasons for trip

We rented the Koru Star 2ST Walkthrough for our 66 day tour of North and South Island. This is a great layout with all you need for a good holiday and the camper is small enough to park in car parks. We were glad of the Walkthrough option on wet and windy days. The shower and toilet area was a reasonable size and we made good use of it on DoC and free camping sites. It is fantastic that the water heats up as you travel and even in the morning was hot enough for 2 people to shower. We did not need electric hook ups as the batteries charged well on the daily runs. We were amazed at how efficiently the battery maintained the coldness in the fridge too. The whole process of booking and paying for the campervan was very easy with good communication from the company and a very good price when comparing with other companies. Collection and dropoff were very efficiently managed and the staff were very helpful. This was the second time we had rented from “Wendekreisen”:https://www.wendekreisen.co.nz/default.aspx and we were very glad we used them again. If we return to New Zealand they will be our first choice again .
