Nestled in a corner of Ham Common The New Inn is a traditional English pub which also sells good quality food. The interior has retained many of original features and is cosy with a fire burning in the winter. During the summer there is a outside area. The food is not the cheapest but it is good quality and serves large portions. There is the Specials Board and a printed menu. You order at the bar and the meals are served sat your table. The staff here are friendly and helpful. There is no television or music playing so it is peaceful .At lunchtimes it does attract the more mature clientele and at weekends it is more family friendly. They also sell a good selection of cask ales here. There always seems to be a lot of customer with dogs in this pub and they are requested to keep them on their leads. Free off street parking around the common and it is also on the 65 bus route. Richmond Park and Ham House are nearby.
