Our favourite campsite to get away from our busy lives is Hollands Wood, in the the New Forest. It is an idyllic spot with lots of lovely walks and beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend booking a spot when there is a heatwave as you can pitch your tent up under gorgeous shady trees and keep nice and cool. What makes it even more special is the horses roaming around everywhere. They even come over and visit you at your tent sometimes, which the grand kids find hilarious.
