A fascinating nature-inspired collection of artwork, sculpture and pottery housed in a beautiful Georgian mansion just outside the famous cathedral city of Gloucester. The extensive gardens display an eclectic array of sculptures with resident artist of the week working in the garden studio. There are a wide variety of art courses and short ‘Dare to Dabble’ classes to try out new art techniques and mediums. The wonderful Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition is on show until the middle of March with the British Wildlife Photography exhibition returning in the autumn – not to be missed. There is a lovely gift and Art supplies shop in the main hall and an excellent Coffee Shop. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and informative. A lovely, creative environment to inspire and inform all ages about nature at any time of the year – we keep coming back as there is always something new to see as well as enjoying old favourites.
