Whilst walking alongside the River Tame in the grounds of the National Memorial Arboretum, I was very impressed with the work going into the gardens of the Allied Special Forces Memorial Grove, which is situated beside the river and in a possibly "undiscovered" area of the arboretum. In the centre of this Grove is a fine oak framed Sun Room and an ideal shelter from the elements, which seem to be constantly changing nowadays. It has many memorials to individuals and military units, all of which are connected via a central wheelchair friendly memorial way. Worth a visit for the peace, quiet and tranquillity.
