What to do at the National Gallery – extra goodies
You can have a top class curator or art historian give a free talk at the National Gallery. Just pick up a leaflet when you visit, for details, or look at the website.
You can attend both free and bookable events.
I have taken the life drawing session which costs only £10 for two hours, with a life model and first class tutor, in the Education Centre at the National Gallery. They are held about once or twice a month, on Friday evenings or Sunday mornings.
You can also attend films for £6 and taster courses for £10, but you have to book in advance. An example, What is Renaissance Art? which will be held on 25 February 2014 from 2-4pm in the Sainsbury Wing Conference Room. It costs £10. A winner.
