The 17th century Black & White Nailcote Hall Hotel is well known in this area with many facilities, ie Par3 Golf Course, Leisure Club, Conference and Wedding venue. Always a friendly reception and after a drink at the bar we visited the Oak Room restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Not a big birthday, but big enough, and we were shown to our window seat table in the lovely oak panelled room overlooking a pretty square of garden. Very good choice on the menu and our soup and crab starter were delicious. We both chose one of the house speciality flambe dishes Steak Diane cooked at our table with a very tasty sauce and a variety of vegetables. No room for dessert, our appetites were truly sated. Food here is of the highest quality and
tastes as good as it looks. The staff are most attentive and nothing is too much trouble. We used our Gourmet card so received a good price reduction.
This lovely old hotel is well worth a visit and their Tribute Nights are also very popular. Always make a reservation as they can be very busy.
