This B&B is just under a mile from Fort William Railway Station & is situated along the bank of Loch Linnhe. The guesthouse consists of 2 buildings side by side & we stayed in room 7, the master bedroom not in the main house. We were warmly greeted by the owner, who stored our bags prior to our room being ready, so we could enjoy our day bag free. Our room was first class, beautifully decorated & furnished, plenty of space, vast & well equipped en suite bathroom & all spotlessly clean. Room had TV, hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities & free WiFi was available. Breakfast was served in our building & was plentiful, well cooked & pleasantly served. Whilst everything about this place was great, by far the best was the delightful views from our bedroom window across the Loch. So glad we didn't book into one of the local hotels, I highly recommend staying here & will definitely stay here if I'm in the area. A couple of points to help you when booking: not all rooms are en suite. Room 7, whilst magnificent, backs on to the shared bathroom, so if you are a light sleeper, other guests using the bathroom in the night may disturb you. We were undisturbed during our stay & the owner said this building was quieter than the main building. There is no safe in the room & no lift (although there are ground floor rooms). The visitors book in the hallway is full of complimentary comments from guests around the world & I certainly added mine. Not cheap at £50 pppn but worth it I think.
